Stone-Throwing Attack in Jerusalem's City of David Follows West Bank Shooting

A stone-throwing attack targeting Jewish youths occurred in Jerusalem's City of David on Sunday, shortly after a separate shooting incident in the Benjamin region. A group of Arabs hurled stones at the youths, prompting one of the victims to fire a warning shot into the air. In the Benjamin region, a separate attack involved a gunman who opened fire on a man at a spring. The assailant reportedly arrived by car, exited with a long weapon, and fired before fleeing on foot. Security forces, including IDF troops and special units, have established roadblocks and are conducting extensive searches for the gunman, who is believed to still be armed and considered a significant threat. The man shot at the spring was evacuated in critical condition.
