Ultra-Orthodox Teen Seriously Hurt in Jerusalem Violence

An 18-year-old ultra-Orthodox youth sustained moderate injuries during Shabbat night after being involved in a violent incident in Jerusalem's Shmuel HaNavi neighborhood. Emergency medical teams from the United Hatzalah organization responded to the scene on Eretz Hefetz Street, providing initial treatment for penetrating wounds.

The young man received first aid, including bleeding control and bandaging, before being transported by a United Hatzalah ambulance to the trauma unit at Hadassah Mount Scopus Medical Center. He arrived at the hospital in a moderate but stable condition for further medical care.

United Hatzalah paramedics Rafael Levin and Moti Dahan, on duty for Shabbat, stated that according to eyewitnesses, the victim was injured in a violent altercation. They described the treatment provided at the scene and his subsequent transfer to the hospital with penetrating wounds.
