Hapoel Beer Sheva Secures Narrow Victory Over Kiryat Shmona

Hapoel Beer Sheva concluded a demanding week with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Kiryat Shmona, securing their second consecutive league win. The reigning champions now head into the international break positioned fourth in the league standings.

The decisive goal came in the 20th minute from Amir Ganah, who executed an impressive individual effort. After receiving a pass from Eliel Peretz on the wing, Ganah cut inside, evaded three defenders, and fired a powerful shot past goalkeeper Daniel Tannenbaum.

The visitors had their best chance in the 62nd minute when a defensive error by Beer Sheva left Ariel Sheretzki in a prime position, but goalkeeper Ofir Marciano made a crucial save.

Following the break, Hapoel Beer Sheva will face Ironi Tiberias and Hapoel Jerusalem in the league, alongside a Europa League match against AZ Alkmaar away, hoping their European campaign does not impact domestic form.
