Man Indicted for Abducting, Threatening Minors Across Israel

A man identified as Boskila has been indicted for multiple offenses involving minors across Israel, including abduction, threats, and extortion. The indictment, filed by the Central District Prosecutor's Office, details three separate incidents that occurred in August. In one instance, Boskila approached a 10-year-old boy playing soccer in Petah Tikva, claiming to have been in prison and asking for money. He then accompanied the child to various locations in Bnei Brak, Ramat Gan, and Petah Tikva. In Bnei Brak, Boskila led the boy to a dilapidated underground shelter, where he forced the frightened child to remain for several minutes despite his pleas and tears, only allowing him to leave after the boy continued to cry.

In another incident in Hadera, Boskila approached two 17-year-old girls, again claiming to have been in prison and warning them he was dangerous and had criminal connections. He followed them to a park, threatened them, and even threatened to harm bystanders. When one of the girls called a friend for help, Boskila attempted to forcibly take her phone and threatened both girls. He continued to follow one of them home, grabbing her hand and trying to prevent her from leaving until she escaped. The following day, he returned to her building and whistled at her open window.

In a third case in Be'er Sheva, Boskila approached a 15-year-old boy waiting for a bus, again mentioning his prison past and asking for money, cigarettes, shoes, and a place to stay. The boy agreed to let Boskila accompany him on a bus to Arad. Inside a shelter, Boskila asked the boy to turn off his phone's flashlight, claiming it disturbed his rest, and then pulled out a large, fixed knife. The frightened boy exited the shelter, followed by Boskila, and they continued to wander for several more hours. The prosecution has requested that Boskila be held in custody until the legal proceedings against him are concluded.
