Israeli Settlers Blocked From Returning to Private Land in Majd al-Krum

Residents of the village of Majd al-Krum successfully prevented Israeli settlers from returning to private land in the "al-Roos" area, following a six-day protest. The settlers had established an outpost on land privately owned by villagers, which was subsequently dismantled. Despite the outpost's removal, settlers attempted to re-enter the area for provocation, but dozens of local youths and residents confronted them. Police present at the scene intervened and removed the settlers from the private property.

One landowner, Saeed Kabt, stated he possesses official documents proving his ownership of 4.5 dunams (approximately 8,650 square meters) within the affected land. He reported being forcibly prevented from accessing his property while the outpost was active, facing threats of arrest if he approached. He was only able to enter his land after the settlers were completely evacuated.

Villagers continue to gather in the "al-Roos" area for symbolic events affirming their connection to the land. The local popular committee and council expressed concern that settlers might attempt to re-establish outposts or establish new ones elsewhere in the village after the Jewish holidays. They emphasized the ongoing popular mobilization and vigilance to protect the land from future incursions.
