Feiglin Accuses Israel of Establishing Hamas State in Gaza

Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the Zehut party, has launched a sharp attack on the Israeli government's conduct of the war in Gaza and its overall policy. In a radio interview, Feiglin disputed claims that Israel controls 70% of the Gaza Strip and is nearing the end of the operation, warning of what he described as political capitulation. He asserted that Israel is effectively establishing a state for Hamas in exchange for the October 7th attacks, with the involvement of the United States and assistance from Turkey and Egypt.

Feiglin further claimed that Israel has lost significant sovereignty in the territory, citing reports from junior commanders in Gaza who allegedly cannot fire a single bullet without explicit approval from the Americans. He stated that he would not take responsibility for a future massacre if the current course is not fundamentally altered.

Regarding the political future of Gaza, Feiglin declared he would not support a left-wing government but would consider sitting in the opposition if his conditions are not met. He reiterated his long-standing position that the only solution for Gaza involves "conquest, expulsion, and settlement." Feiglin concluded by stating he would set clear red lines and propose his alternative approach to the current management of the conflict.
