Young Driver Critically Injured After Crashing into Tree Near Sea of Galilee
A 27-year-old man sustained serious injuries after his vehicle collided with a tree near the Gofra beach on the Sea of Galilee. Emergency medical services (Magen David Adom, MDA) treated the driver at the scene and transported him to Poriya Hospital in Tiberias.
MDA paramedic Eliyahu Ben Simon, along with medics Gilad Cohen and Noam Marouani, described the incident, stating, "The driver slid into a ditch and hit a tree." They provided initial medical treatment on site before evacuating him via an intensive care ambulance. The driver was conscious and in stable, serious condition upon arrival at the hospital.
