Netanyahu Launches Election Campaign with Fiery Speech

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu officially launched his election campaign on Thursday evening at a celebratory event hosted by the Likud party. During the event, Netanyahu launched a direct attack on his political rivals, outlining the core messages of the upcoming election. He characterized the election as a fundamental identity struggle, stating, "It's either left or right! Do you want to fight or surrender? That's what the election is about, there's no 'middle' and no 'straight', that's a bluff!".

Netanyahu highlighted what he described as significant security and regional achievements during his tenure, asserting that these actions have altered the regional balance of power. "We have changed the face of the Middle East, and we will continue to change the face of the Middle East! We saved the State of Israel from destruction. Israel almost didn't exist, and we did what no one dared to do," he declared.

To illustrate this strategic shift, Netanyahu listed targeted eliminations of key figures he referred to as the "axis of evil." He mentioned, "Two years ago, Nasrallah was sitting in his bunker, where is he now? Eliminated! Where is Khamenei? Eliminated! Where is Dahlan? Eliminated! Where is Haniyeh? Eliminated!"

Concluding his remarks, the Prime Minister pointed to a turning point in combat operations, recalling daring operations by security forces. "On this day two years ago, we blew up the pagers. Do you remember them? I promise you that Hezbollah remembers them too," he said, referencing an event that disrupted Hezbollah's communication systems.
