Ben-Gvir had previously informed Levi that he would not sign off on new appointments during the election period, except for urgent and essential ones. Following this, the Police Commissioner met with Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara. Ben-Gvir's circle alleges that Levi is attempting to promote officers close to Baharav-Miara, which is why the minister decided to block the process.
