Northern Israel Residents Alerted to Planned IDF Strikes in Lebanon
Kiryat Shmona Municipality issued an urgent notice to residents of the city and surrounding northern communities, informing them of planned security force activity in the northern sector within the next hour. The municipality stated that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are expected to carry out a wave of strikes inside Lebanese territory.
Residents in the northern region and towns near the border were advised that loud explosions would be heard due to the operational activity. The municipality sought to reassure residents, clarifying that there are no changes to current defense guidelines at this time. "Routine continues, and there are no special instructions for the public," the statement read.
