Netanyahu Vows to Eliminate Hamas, Overthrow Iran Regime

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a new phase of operations against Iran and Hamas, stating that Israel will pursue all those involved in the October 7th attacks and ensure no one responsible escapes accountability. Speaking at a ceremony honoring Shin Bet employees, Netanyahu asserted that Israel is actively targeting perpetrators of the killings, significantly reducing the number of militants still at large. "There is still much work to be done, and we will finish the job. We will destroy Hamas. And, above all, we will defeat the regime in Iran. We will topple it. It will fall. We will also deal with Hezbollah, and it too will fall," Netanyahu declared.

He further highlighted the prevention of approximately one thousand terror attacks in Judea and Samaria, thwarting numerous attempts to harm Israelis. Netanyahu attributed these successes to the efforts of Shin Bet in close cooperation with the IDF and other security agencies.

Earlier reports indicated Netanyahu's concern over Iran's continued work on nuclear weapons at the "Mount Pickaxe" facility. Speaking at the Western Wall before Rosh Hashanah, he pledged that while he is prime minister, Tehran will not acquire nuclear weapons. Netanyahu has previously stated that Israel faces an existential threat from the Iranian regime, which seeks the country's destruction and the development of nuclear arms, though he noted that this and other significant threats have been pushed back.
