Comedian Adi Ashkenazi Honors Einat Erlich at Stand-Up Show

Comedian Adi Ashkenazi dedicated her recent stand-up performance at Beit HaHayal in Tel Aviv to her friend Einat Erlich, who recently revealed she is battling brain cancer. Ashkenazi shared a clip from the show on her Instagram, expressing her admiration for Erlich's strength.

During the show, Ashkenazi addressed Erlich, who was in the audience, saying, "This entire evening is dedicated to my beloved who is here in the audience, my life, my beloved Einati. We are all sending you all the health in the world. There is no one like you in the world to get through this." She added humorously, "The cancer is doing a U-turn on itself and regretting it. Applaud her because she deserves it. There’s no one like you, Einati." Erlich was visibly moved to tears by the gesture.

Ashkenazi further elaborated in her Instagram post, calling Erlich her "number one viewer" and expressing joy in making her laugh. She praised Erlich for strengthening and illuminating everyone around her with optimism and light since her diagnosis, vowing to reciprocate that support until her full recovery. "There is no one like you in the world, Einati," Ashkenazi wrote.

Erlicht had disclosed her diagnosis last week, sharing that despite her lifelong focus on health and a healthy lifestyle, she was diagnosed with brain cancer. She underwent a complex but successful surgery to remove the tumor, performed by Dr. Tal Shahar and Dr. Naomi Kahana Levi at Ichilov Hospital. While acknowledging her fear, anger, and sadness, Erlich emphasized her profound connection to the love and support she has received from those around her.
