Comedian Lior Schleien Deletes Video of Teen Advocating Arab Murder

Israeli comedian and social commentator Lior Schleien announced Wednesday that he had deleted a disturbing video he posted two days prior, which featured a teenager expressing a desire to murder Arabs and sacrifice his life to do so. Schleien stated that the parents, teachers, and local council head of the teenager were all shocked by the video's content. He questioned the delayed reaction, asking, "If these things are shocking, where were you? What did you do? And more importantly, what will you do now?"

The video, part of Schleien's regular segment where he interviews young people, often in educational settings, about political issues, was initially shared with the caption "A disturbing conversation you should see." In the clip, the teenager, whose family members were reportedly harmed on October 7th, explicitly stated, "Give me a knife, I will murder them... Every Arab should not live in the State of Israel. Every Arab should get cancer in their body, I don't care if he is good or not." The teen also claimed his racist views predated the October 7th attacks, stating, "Even before, I was racist towards Arabs, my whole life, since I was born."

Schleien extended his criticism beyond the individual teen, linking his sentiments to the broader political discourse. He remarked, "I understand that you hear such voices on social media, and in your environment, and also in your government. But when I ask 'What will you achieve by this' you have no answer. Forget it, you have no answer - Ben-Gvir has no answer, Smotrich has no answer, the forces leading this worldview in the government have no answer."

Schleien concluded his remarks, following the video's removal, by stating, "The direction Israel has been heading in recent years, the direction you are now representing, we need to end immediately."
