Far-Left Activists Disrupt "B'Yachad" Party Conference Over Palestinian State

Activists from the far-left movement "Omdim B'Yachad" (Standing Together) disrupted a conference held by the "B'Yachad" party at Kfar Maccabiah on Wednesday evening. The activists entered the hall and set up loudspeakers to broadcast a recording of Noam Tibon, a candidate for the "B'Yachad" party, advocating for a two-state solution and a Palestinian state.

During the conference, as Tibon was about to take the stage, the activists played his recorded statement, in which he said, "Whoever says peace will harm security is lying, and I am tired of hearing these lies from cowardly politicians." The protesters also revealed shirts bearing the slogan "Yes to a Palestinian State."

The protest was part of a campaign by "Omdim B'Yachad" titled "A Peace Government Will Bring Change," which calls on the next Israeli government to renew negotiations with the Palestinian leadership and promote the establishment of a Palestinian state alongside Israel.

Area coordinator for "Omdim B'Yachad,"ליה לוין (ליה לוין), stated that current politicians running on an alternative platform are not truly offering change if they do not advance a political agreement that includes a Palestinian state. She added, "We, the youth of the country, are not looking for leaders who will manage eternal wars in a more state-like manner. We are looking for leaders who will help advance Israel towards a future of security and peace. An independent Palestinian state will be established, the question is how many will die along the way. We are fighting for the lives of all the inhabitants of this land."
