Fenerbahce has already turned the page after winning the Turkish league title on Saturday, beating Besiktas in a dramatic final and beginning plans for next season, when it will try to reclaim the EuroLeague crown. The club, coached by Sarunas Jasikevicius, is expected to continue him on a contract running through 2029.
One confirmed addition is Marcus Bingham, who has reached terms and will join the rotation. Marcus Reed, the Turkish league MVP, has also been mentioned as a target. Some in the club want Bogdan Bogdanovic back, but he is expected to stay in the NBA for at least one more year. Wade Baldwin, Tyler Horton-Tucker and Tarik Biberovic are set to be key pieces next season, and Biberovic turned down a lucrative college offer.
Among the departures, the most significant is Devon Hall, who averaged 8.3 points per game in the EuroLeague this season and has said he will not continue, with a move to Milan expected. Nando de Colo, the veteran guard, will retire at 39. The club’s sporting director has spoken about a squad overhaul after the disappointing EuroLeague Final Four semifinal loss to Olympiacos, raising the possibility of major arrivals.
Bonzie Colson is another unresolved name. He has been linked with Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he reportedly held advanced talks, and with Olympiacos, but it is still unclear whether Fenerbahce will let him leave after he played a major role this season and has an option to extend his deal. Arturs Zagars and Armando Bacot are also expected to depart. Nicolo Melli, whose deal is the most important one expiring, said after the series, "It is a pleasure to be part of this family," and is currently expected to stay.
