Fox Group Explores Partnership in Premium Home Design Retailer Soho

Israel's Fox Group, led by businessman Harel Wiesel, is in preliminary talks to acquire a stake in Soho, a local home design and lifestyle chain.

Soho currently operates 12 stores nationwide and already has a working relationship with Fox Group, supplying products to Fox's e-commerce site Terminal X. This potential move aims to expand Fox's presence in the home design market, where it currently operates through Fox Home and Jumbo Greece.

The acquisition would allow Fox Group to enter the premium segment of the home design market, competing with rivals like Castro Home. Soho, founded in 2003 by the Pilz family and currently owned by former tech executive Eytan Walach, specializes in importing international design brands such as Britain's Joseph Joseph and Italy's Salty.

Walach has previously expressed a desire to expand Soho internationally. A partnership with Fox Group, which has extensive experience in managing franchises and global expansion, could provide the financial and operational backing for such ambitions. Both Fox Group and Walach declined to comment on the potential deal, with Walach stating he does not respond to rumors.
