Teenager Injured in Electric Scooter Accident in Beit Shemesh
A 17-year-old boy sustained moderate injuries on Wednesday after falling from an electric scooter while riding on Nachal Kishon Street in Beit Shemesh. Emergency medical responders from Magen David Adom and "Tzeva Hatzala" (Rescue Team) arrived at the scene to find the teenager lying on the road with injuries to his face and limbs.
Yehoshua Gottlieb, a senior paramedic with "Tzeva Hatzala," described the scene, stating, "When I arrived with the Magen David Adom ambulance I staff, I saw an electric scooter rider, a 17-year-old boy, lying with injuries to his face and limbs after he slipped during the ride."
"Together with other Magen David Adom paramedics, we provided him with initial medical assistance, including stopping bleeding, stabilization, and bandaging. Afterward, I evacuated him for further treatment in the trauma room at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem," Gottlieb added.
