Yisrael Beiteinu Denies Promising Ra'am Coalition Role

The Yisrael Beiteinu party vehemently denied reports that Gadi Eisenkot, a senior figure in the party, had promised to include the Ra'am party in the next government. The denial came in response to a publication by N12, which claimed Eisenkot made this commitment during a meeting with leaders of Bedouin municipalities in the north. The report also stated that two municipal leaders present at the meeting confirmed Eisenkot's alleged promise.

Yisrael Beiteinu issued a strong rebuttal, calling the report "a lie and falsehood" and stating that such a statement was never made, not even implicitly. The party outlined its conditions for coalition participation, emphasizing that any partner must recognize the values of Israel's Declaration of Independence, acknowledge Israel as a Jewish and democratic state, and commit to service for all.

Furthermore, the party stressed that any group which does not recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization that Israel must destroy would not be part of a government formed by them.
