Accused of Assaulting Building Manager During Residents' Meeting

Gil Dayan, 43, from Acre, has been charged after an alleged attack on the representative of the company that manages the apartment building where he lives. According to the indictment, the confrontation began during a routine tenants' association meeting, when the manager briefed residents on building matters and Dayan suddenly shouted at him, “Where is my money?”

The situation escalated quickly. After the manager said he would not continue the discussion and announced he was leaving, Dayan allegedly attacked him while he was in his car. The charge states that he head-butted the man twice and bit him on the nose.

The victim reportedly bled heavily from his nose and required medical treatment. Eyewitnesses at the scene intervened and separated the two, while Dayan allegedly continued to curse the complainant and threaten him.

After the investigation was completed and the evidence was assembled, prosecutors filed the indictment against Dayan in court on June 19, 2026, and asked that he remain in custody until the end of the proceedings.
