Miri Regev and Dudi Amsalem's Media Exposure Plummets, Journalist Claims

Journalist Raviv Drucker reported a dramatic decline in media exposure for Likud politicians Miri Regev and Dudi Amsalem following the launch of the Likud campaign. Citing data from the "Ifat" company, which monitors radio and television mentions, Drucker stated that from May to August, Amsalem averaged nearly eight mentions per month, while Regev, partly due to the Ben Gurion Airport chaos, had over 40 mentions per month.

However, in the two weeks after the primaries in September, Amsalem's mentions dropped to zero, and Regev's fell to just two. Drucker suggested this sharp decrease is not coincidental, implying the politicians are aware of public animosity towards them. He speculated that their reduced visibility is a strategic move, hoping the public's memory will not be negatively affected by their absence from the media spotlight, referencing a similar pattern observed during the 2022 elections.
