Israeli Strike Kills One, Wounds Two in Gaza City

A person was killed and two others were injured on Tuesday in an Israeli airstrike targeting civilians in the Sheikh Ajlin area, southwest of Gaza City. Medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital reported that the body of one deceased individual and two injured persons, one critically, were brought to the hospital following the drone strike on passersby. The Israeli military also conducted artillery shelling on areas northeast of Gaza City and east of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip. Israeli vehicles fired heavily towards areas east of Deir al-Balah and the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, as well as east of Khan Yunis in the south. Israeli warships also fired towards the coasts of Gaza City and Khan Yunis.

These incidents are described as ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 2025. According to the latest data from the Gaza Ministry of Health, these violations have resulted in the deaths of 1,372 people and the injuries of 4,659 others as of Monday. The report also states that Israel has killed over 73,000 people and injured more than 174,000 during the war, while destroying approximately 90 percent of Gaza's infrastructure.
