Israeli Model Sean Levy Dazzles in Intimate, Smartphone-Shot Editorial
Israeli model Sean Levy, known for her work with top international brands like Prada and Chloe, has surprised audiences with a new, intimate editorial shoot titled 'Neto LeFan.' The series, shot entirely on a smartphone in Levy's home, features a raw, unpolished aesthetic that has garnered significant attention.
Levy described the shoot as spontaneous, with no pre-conceived concept. She and her partner, photographer Assaf Reshef, rearranged furniture in her living room and created ten different looks within approximately two hours. Levy expressed her appreciation for the shoot's organic feel, noting the lack of special equipment or editing contributed to its intimate and effortless quality.
Reshef, who is also Levy's fiancé, facilitated her ability to fully immerse herself in the modeling process without distractions. "It allowed me to surrender. I could just give myself in front of the camera, without dealing with hair, makeup, looks, or the photography itself at the same time," Levy stated.
Styling and creative direction for the shoot were handled by Isaac Levy, a frequent collaborator who also worked with Levy on video content for Chanel Beauty. The pair's creative synergy is evident, with Levy highlighting their friendship and ability to create freely without client briefs. She noted their contrasting styles, which ultimately lead to interesting and harmonious collaborations.
The editorial features eclectic pieces sourced from local French boutiques and a Paris vintage market, with many items creatively restyled. For instance, a skirt was fashioned from two shirts, and a dress collar was incorporated into a striped shirt. Levy emphasized their playful approach to fashion, focusing on shapes and proportions rather than strict adherence to conventional styling.
Levy also recently announced her decision to represent herself in Israel after nearly a decade with the same agency. She cited a desire for greater responsibility and control over the business aspects of her career, leveraging her extensive experience in the industry. This move has also inspired her to launch a consulting business to guide aspiring models in navigating the fashion world.
