Hapoel Haifa Owner Hopes Team Stays Undefeated After Beitar Jerusalem Clash

Hapoel Haifa celebrated their first league win of the season on Monday, defeating Bnei Sakhnin 3-1. This victory adds to their three draws in the early stages of the Israeli Premier League campaign, maintaining their undefeated status.

Owner Yoav Katz expressed satisfaction with the team's performance and the professional staff. Speaking from the United States, Katz specifically praised players Yoav Jerafi and Liran Rotman, noting their consistent contributions since last season. "Yoav Jerafi is simply fantastic and Liran Rotman is great, both from last year and at the start of this season," Katz stated.

Head coach Haim Silvas managed the game effectively, employing a short rotation that is expected to continue into Saturday's match against Beitar Jerusalem. Katz recalled a past cup victory against Beitar at Teddy Stadium, acknowledging the team's historical success against them.
