Haj Abdullah Shaalan, known as Abu Hussein, a resident of Baqa Al-Gharbiyya and the father of journalist Hassan Shaalan, has passed away. His funeral procession took place on Tuesday evening at 10 PM.

Condolence services will be held for men at the Baqa Diwan starting Tuesday after the afternoon prayer and continuing until Wednesday, one hour after the evening prayer. The mourning period for women will be held at the deceased's home during the same hours.
