Hostage Survivor Ro'ee Braslavsky Demands Action for Combat Trauma Victims

Ro'ee Braslavsky, a former hostage, has released an emotional video criticizing the public and governmental silence surrounding the psychological distress of combat veterans and former hostages suffering from trauma. The video, widely shared on social media, comes amid reports of a tragic surge in suicides among combat-impaired soldiers, with six taking their own lives in less than a week.

Braslavsky stated, "I share with great sadness. Over 120 combat-impaired soldiers with PTSD have committed suicide since the beginning of October 7th. We, the hostage survivors, are here thanks to the soldiers who entered Gaza and fought to get us out, and we are silent, the state is silent. Does this sound logical to anyone?"

He sharply criticized elected officials, directly appealing to Knesset members and the public. "Stop dealing with crap and nonsense and start taking care of our combat-impaired soldiers. Raise your voices for the soldiers you sent into battle and are now abandoning them."

Braslavsky concluded by vowing to continue his fight and not remain silent until all combat-impaired soldiers and former hostages receive the full medical and psychological treatment they deserve.
