Big Brother Star Slams 'Nezah' Film Creators as Traitors

Bar Cohen, a former contestant on the Israeli reality show "Big Brother," has strongly criticized the creators of the film "Nezah," which recently won a jury prize at the Venice Film Festival. The film has sparked significant public controversy in Israel for its alleged criticism of the Israel Defense Forces' (IDF) actions in Gaza.

Cohen expressed her outrage in an Instagram story, calling the filmmakers "traitors from within" and stating that their actions constitute treason against the country's security. She suggested that if she were in a position of authority, the filmmakers would face severe consequences, including imprisonment.

"Treason from within, that's the worst," Cohen stated. "If I were the decision-maker, their fate would be very harsh. Revoking citizenship? For me, this is treason against the country's security. To prison, until the end."

Cohen's comments echo a broader public outcry, including remarks from Culture Minister Miki Zohar, who had previously stated he would seek to revoke the creators' citizenship for alleged treason. Cohen added, "There is no greater betrayal than this. Revoking citizenship? It's really a bummer for them to live in Europe, where they received their award. God protect me from my own mouth."
