Eurovision Stars Chiara and Pasha Parfeni to Perform in Israel
The OGAE Israel Eurovision fan club is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a special event in Tel Aviv on Thursday, November 19, 2026. The event, held at the Callas club, will feature live performances by international Eurovision artists, marking a significant return of such acts to Israel after several years. This initiative aims to counter a perceived sense of isolation.
The first confirmed international performer is Chiara, Malta's representative in 1998, 2005, and 2009. Israeli audiences will remember her close 1998 competition with Dana International. Pasha Parfeni, who represented Moldova in 2012 and 2023, is the second announced international artist.
This event coincides with a broader trend of international artists performing in Israel. British pop legend Boy George is also scheduled to perform in Tel Aviv at the Menora Mivtachim Arena in November. Boy George has publicly supported Israel and recently released a song honoring victims of the Nova festival attack.
The arrival of these artists is seen as a dual celebration for local fans and a statement that music and love for the Eurovision competition transcend boycotts.
