MK Malinowski Slams Likud's Election Disqualification Bid as Campaign Spin

Member of Knesset Yulia Malinowski of Yisrael Beiteinu strongly criticized the Likud party's announcement of its intention to seek the disqualification of the Joint List and Ra'am from running in the upcoming 26th Knesset elections. Malinowski asserted that the move is a political maneuver for campaign purposes, inconsistent with the Likud's conduct during the current Knesset term.

"It's interesting how Likud remembers every election to try and disqualify the Joint List, when throughout the entire term, the most fruitful cooperation in the Knesset has been between Bibi and Tibi," Malinowski wrote. She cited several security-related bills she initiated as examples of Likud's alleged collaboration with Arab parties to block her legislation. These included proposals to halt medical treatments for terrorists, designate the Gaza Strip as a hostile area, cease trade with Gaza, and prohibit essential services to hostile entities.

Malinowski urged the public not to believe the Likud's "spin," claiming the party does not genuinely wish to remove "terror supporters" from the Knesset, but rather considers them their "best friends." She also extended her criticism to the ultra-Orthodox parties, alleging that they, along with Likud and Arab parties, work together to prevent the passage of a universal draft law, facilitating draft evasion. Malinowski attached evidence of joint votes by Tibi and Likud against her proposed legislation.
