Netanyahu Showcases Weapons Seized from Hezbollah Tunnels in Lebanon
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office released a video on Friday showing the premier displaying weapons confiscated by the Israeli military from tunnels in the Al-Taher Heights region of southern Lebanon. The Israeli army announced late Thursday the demolition of over two kilometers of tunnels in the area.
In the video, Netanyahu, accompanied by the Defense Minister and the Deputy Chief of Staff of the IDF, stood at the Narzis camp in Metula, holding up some of the seized weaponry. He stated, "You see here some of the weapons we took out of the Al-Taher Heights, funded by Iran. Here you see rockets, anti-tank machine guns, mines, and computers. All of this is now in our hands."
The weapons displayed included rockets, anti-tank weapons, mines, and computers, which Netanyahu identified as being funded by Iran. The operation targeted tunnels dug by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
