Man Critically Injured After Car Plunges Off Road Near Hura
A 26-year-old man sustained critical injuries after his vehicle veered off Road 31 near Hura in southern Israel early Tuesday morning. Emergency services received the report at 1:42 AM. Paramedics and EMTs from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived at the scene to find the man with severe limb injuries and in a confused state.
Responders provided life-saving medical treatment, including stopping bleeding and administering medication, before transporting him to Soroka Hospital via a mobile intensive care unit. His condition was described as serious but stable upon arrival at the hospital.
"It was a very difficult scene," said MDA paramedic Elad Pass and EMT Yeshayahu Rahavi. "When we arrived, we saw a car with severe body damage and nearby the injured man who suffered significant limb trauma. We provided him with life-saving medical care, including stopping bleeding and administering medication, and evacuated him in an MDA mobile intensive care unit to the hospital with his condition serious and stable, and he was confused."
