US Sanctions Iran's Terror Financing Networks, Including Hezbollah Brigades

The United States has imposed sanctions on "Hezbollah Brigades," the organization responsible for the abduction of Israeli researcher Elizabeth Tsurkov, as well as Hezbollah and their financing networks. According to a State Department announcement, the move targets the financing mechanisms of the Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force, which utilized commercial networks in Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Lebanon to circumvent sanctions and fund terrorism.

The US administration stated that the Hezbollah Brigades have escalated threats against American targets, including plans to attack Jewish institutions in the United States. "We will continue to work to isolate Iran's terror proxies and cut off their financial lifelines," the statement read.
