IDF Spokesperson Reports Clearing Hezbollah Tunnel Network in Southern Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson announced that IDF soldiers have cleared the Ali Taher ridge in southern Lebanon, a significant Hezbollah tunnel complex. During the operation, all Hezbollah operatives encountered were eliminated, according to the IDF.
The announcement was made from within one of the tunnels, emphasizing the depth and extent of the underground infrastructure. The IDF has been engaged in operations against Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon following the October 7th attacks and ongoing cross-border hostilities.
This operation is part of a broader effort by the IDF to dismantle Hezbollah's military capabilities and secure the northern Israeli border. The clearing of the tunnel network is intended to neutralize threats and prevent Hezbollah from utilizing these subterranean passages for military purposes.
