Man Critically Wounded in Shooting Attack in Tayibe
A man in his 50s sustained critical injuries after being shot in the city of Tayibe, located in the southern Triangle region, on Thursday evening. Paramedics from Magen David Adom provided resuscitation efforts at the scene before transporting the victim to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba for treatment.
Upon arrival, the medical team found the man unconscious inside a vehicle, with no pulse or breathing due to the shooting. They administered advanced life support, including pain relief and efforts to stop bleeding, and then transferred him via intensive care ambulance to the hospital, reporting his condition as critical with penetrating injuries.
The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting, the motive for which remains unclear. No arrests have been announced. The report notes ongoing concerns about security and safety for Arab citizens amidst escalating crime and a lack of deterrence.
