MK Almog Cohen Tells Soldiers to Refuse Orders if Left-Wing Forms Government
During a heated election panel discussion with high school students at Makif Tet, Knesset Member Almog Cohen fiercely attacked left-wing activist Omri Ronen, a representative of the "Democrats" movement. Cohen accused Ronen and his associates of "selling out" their children by prioritizing political gain over national security. He then directly addressed military personnel present, including Golani, General Staff, Maglan, and Sayeret Matkal (Shaldag) soldiers, urging them to "refuse orders" if the "Democrats" and their allies form the next government.
Cohen further declared to the entire audience that even if the "Democrats" formed a government with Mansour Abbas, he would personally go out to face terrorists in Ofakim if they attacked, stating he was prepared to die repeatedly, unlike Ronen. The incident occurred during an election event aimed at engaging high school students.
