Cassia Jerusalem has opened a new Recovery & Wellness complex spanning 1,000 square meters, bringing what the hotel describes as global wellness trends to the capital. The facility includes a snow room, ice pools, hot pools, treatment rooms, a large gym, and other areas built around thermal and holistic experiences. The hotel says the concept reflects the rise of “Social Wellness,” shifting away from a traditional spa model toward an urban resort focused on shared recovery and a mix of heat-and-cold treatments.
According to the hotel, the goal is to create a space where guests can challenge the body in extreme temperatures while reconnecting with themselves and others. It presents the project as an alternative to Israel’s local leisure culture and as part of a broader global bathing trend that has gained popularity in the United States.
In Tel Aviv, the balloon above Yarkon Park has returned after a long absence. Visitors can rise to a height of 120 meters and get panoramic views across Gush Dan, the Sharon region and the Judean Hills. The ride includes live explanations about the surrounding landscape, and the balloon lands back in the same spot. The attraction, which also includes Sky Town and Cinemax 360, operates seven days a week.
Separately, the Staia Tel Aviv hotel is starting the summer season with three newly upgraded premium suites. Each suite is about 55 to 65 square meters, located on the hotel’s seventh and top floor in a separate corridor, and was redesigned with large new windows, full sea views, a built-in bar, contemporary decor, large bathrooms, branded toiletries, fine cotton bedding and other amenities.
