Cassia Hotel in Jerusalem has opened a new Recovery & Wellness complex that it says brings a global wellness concept to the city. The 1,000-square-meter facility includes a snow room, ice pools, hot pools, treatment rooms, a large gym, recharge areas, and a thermal circuit. The hotel describes the project as part of the rise of “Social Wellness,” presenting an urban resort model that replaces the traditional spa with shared recovery experiences based on heat and cold exposure.
The hotel says the goal is to create a space where guests can challenge their bodies in extreme temperatures while reconnecting with themselves and others through active recovery. It presents the new center as an alternative to local leisure culture and as a response to worldwide bathing trends.
Separately, a hot-air balloon has returned above Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park after a long absence. Visitors can rise to 120 meters and get panoramic views of the Gush Dan area, stretching to the Sharon region and the Judean Hills. During the ride, they hear live explanations about the surroundings, and the balloon lands back at the exact takeoff point. The site, which also includes Sky Town and Cinemax 360, operates seven days a week.
In another hotel update, the Stai Tel Aviv is opening three new premium suites for the summer season. The suites, each about 55 to 65 square meters, are on the hotel’s top, seventh floor in a separate corridor. They were redesigned with large new windows facing the Mediterranean and the Tel Aviv coastline, plus an in-suite bar, contemporary interiors, large bathrooms, signature toiletries, premium cotton linens, and other amenities.
