Givat Shmuel Launches City-Wide Cleanup Ahead of New Year

The Givat Shmuel municipality's "Shefa" department is conducting an extensive cleaning, gardening, and visual upgrade operation throughout the city in anticipation of the new Jewish year and the High Holidays. The initiative involves thorough washing of sidewalks and public areas, weed removal, pruning of trees and shrubs, planting seasonal flowers, and increased collection of trash, yard waste, and debris.

As part of an effort to improve operational efficiency, the department has integrated a new suction machine for the first time on a pilot basis. This machine is designed for rapid and thorough cleaning of large sidewalk areas.

The Givat Shmuel municipality is urging residents to participate in maintaining public spaces by disposing of waste in designated bins, practicing recycling, and placing yard waste and debris out only on scheduled collection days. The goal is to ensure a festive, clean, and well-maintained environment for the upcoming new year.
