Trump Hints at Military Action Against Iran's Nuclear Program

Speaking at a Republican midterm election conference in Dallas, U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his stance against Iran obtaining nuclear weapons, stating, "We cannot allow Iran to have nuclear weapons. It's very simple."

Trump criticized the previous administration's handling of Iran, calling the JCPOA nuclear deal "one of the worst agreements in history" and accusing "Sleepy Joe" Biden of giving Iran everything it wanted. He claimed that without his administration's actions, including withdrawing from the JCPOA and conducting airstrikes with B-2 bombers, Iran would now possess nuclear weapons. He suggested a hypothetical scenario where he would have had to negotiate with Iran's Supreme Leader if these actions hadn't been taken.

Turning to specific sites, Trump mentioned "Mount Qarmis" (likely referring to a facility in Iran), noting, "We noticed there was some activity at Mount Qarmis." He attributed this observation to the Space Force, which he described as his initiative, stating, "We can see everything. We can even see the tag on their coat... We can read that from space."

In other remarks, Trump promised a $5,000 dividend to every adult U.S. citizen if Republicans win control of both the House and Senate in the upcoming midterm elections, framing it as a reward for the nation's economic success. He also attacked the Democratic Senate candidate in Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed, and his sister, accusing them of celebrating the October 7th attacks and associating El-Sayed with Marxism and anti-American sentiments. Trump also paid tribute to conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated a year prior, condemning the act and criticizing those who he claimed excused or celebrated the murder, linking them to the radical left seeking power in the elections.
