The path to becoming a certified medical lab worker involves a bachelor's degree in life sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, pharmacy, or agriculture, followed by a six-month full-time or year-long part-time internship. A Ministry of Health exam grants academic recognition. Master's degree holders can qualify through shorter conversion courses. Seniority is the primary driver of salary increases, with master's and doctoral degrees granting additional years of recognized experience.
