Defense Minister Warns Iran of Further Strikes

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, during a tour of the Hermon Ridge in northern Israel, issued a strong warning to Syria and Iran. Speaking alongside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at IDF positions on the Hermon, Katz emphasized the military's presence and its role in defending Israeli communities in the Golan Heights and the Galilee.

"We are defending the communities of the Golan Heights and the Galilee from here, keeping an eye on Hezbollah's stronghold in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon, and we are here sending a very strong and clear message to the President of Syria sitting 35 kilometers away in the palace in Damascus: We are here on the Hermon, we are in the security zone and we are not moving from here to defend against threats from any jihadist element from this side of the border and within the systems in Syria itself," Katz stated.

Katz detailed nightly operational activities in the area, linking them to other fronts. "We destroyed enemy infrastructure in Gaza, in Lebanon, and here IDF forces also operate every night to thwart more infrastructure of jihadist forces to protect the communities of the Golan, the communities of the Galilee, and the State of Israel."

Addressing the confrontation with Iran, the Defense Minister asserted that the security establishment is prepared for continued action if necessary. "Iran is in the background. We struck them twice, and when necessary, we will strike a third time to continue thwarting threats. We thwarted the nuclear threat, eliminated Khamenei, and damaged strategic capabilities. And we will continue to do so against all threats, both the threat of the Iranian-led Shiite axis and the Ahassi axis led by the Muslim Brotherhood here and in the region. We will ensure the security of all residents of the State of Israel," he declared.
