Israeli AI Firm Wonderful Partners with Bayern Munich
Israeli artificial intelligence company Wonderful has signed a three-year global partnership agreement with the German football club Bayern Munich, becoming the club's official Enterprise AI partner. This deal marks a significant entry into the global sports arena for the Israeli firm.
Initially, Wonderful's AI agents will be integrated to assist fans on match days, handling urgent inquiries about tickets and user accounts within seconds, thereby eliminating wait times. Future plans include incorporating additional technological applications for the club's ongoing management.
Founded in 2025, Wonderful initially focused on developing AI agents for non-English speaking markets. It now operates in over 35 markets with hundreds of employees. The company has seen rapid growth, raising $150 million in March at a valuation of approximately $2 billion, and recently announced another $550 million funding round led by Insight Partners and Salesforce, boosting its valuation to about $5 billion.
Former NBA player Omri Casspi, who manages the venture capital fund Swish Ventures, was an early investor in Wonderful and is a notable beneficiary of the company's success. Casspi shared the news on X, commenting "sweet."
Bayern Munich management stated that the partnership aims to streamline operations and enhance the fan experience. A Bayern board member, Ruben Kaspar, noted that the collaboration will allow the club to leverage AI agents for organizational management.
