WIZO Opens New Secondhand Store in Petah Tikva
The WIZO secondhand clothing store chain has opened a new branch at 4 Gutman Street in Petah Tikva, relocating from its previous location on Shapira Street after decades.
The new store is situated in a more central and accessible area, aiming to better serve the city's residents. It will offer a wide selection of pre-owned clothing, vintage items, designer pieces, shoes, bags, and fashion accessories at affordable prices.
The proceeds from sales at the new WIZO store will support the organization's social activities, particularly its work with women, girls, and children affected by domestic violence.
The opening ceremony was attended by Petah Tikva Mayor Rami Greenberg, WIZO Israel Chairwoman Ora Korazim, and other city and WIZO officials. Mayor Greenberg praised WIZO's contribution to the community, calling the secondhand store a "tremendous social enterprise" that connects diverse groups and strengthens the city's resilience. He pledged continued municipal support for community and social projects.
