Party Official Urges Bennett, Liberman to Join Right-Wing Government
Lali Darai, a member of the "Am Ech Israel" party, has called on former Prime Ministers Naftali Bennett and Avigdor Liberman to end their boycott of the right-wing bloc and join a broad right-wing government. Speaking on "Medabrim Hadashot," Darai urged them to cease their "foolish boycott" against the right-wing public and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, positioning her party as a potential bridge for their return.
Darai, who identifies as an expert in government relations and policy promotion with a background as a journalist and as a bereaved mother who dealt with the issue of integrating the Haredi community into the IDF, stated that her party seeks a broad right-wing government, distinct from the situation before October 7th. She emphasized that her party's vision includes all right-wing voices.
Regarding her party's loyalty, Darai clarified that while they recognize Netanyahu as the leader of the right-wing camp and will recommend him, they are not working for him. She outlined her party's policy goals, including legislation for Haredi integration into the IDF with benefits for those who serve and consequences for those who do not, a policy she believes Netanyahu understands. The party also advocates for voluntary immigration and decisive action.
Darai specifically addressed Bennett and Liberman's stated interest in Haredi integration into the IDF, inviting them to join "Am Ech Israel." She suggested that if they join, the need to bring Haredi parties into the government might be eliminated. She asserted that her party offers "excellent right-wing policy" on issues such as voluntary immigration, decisive action, Haredi integration, and a free economy, urging them to join and witness their approach.
