He elaborated that the crucial discussion should be about the strategic security concept that led to the October 7th failure, not the tactical details of whether Netanyahu was woken up or when.

Journalist Barak Ravid commented on Kunkul's statement, calling it "sad." Kunkul responded, accusing Ravid of not listening and merely retweeting a "Twitter bot." Kunkul reiterated that Netanyahu's interest lies in the public focusing on the tactical discussion, which he believes would have occurred on another date regardless, rather than the more significant strategic debate.
