Israel Demolishes Structures in Jerusalem, Settlers Attack West Bank

Israeli forces demolished a horse stable in the Al-Quds suburb of Al-Ram, north of Jerusalem, and a home in the Silwan neighborhood on Wednesday morning. Simultaneously, Israeli settlers, under the protection of Israeli forces, continued their attacks on Palestinians and their property across the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The Wadi Hilweh Information Center reported that Israeli forces raided Al-Ram with bulldozers, destroying the stable and firing tear gas, causing several residents to suffer from gas inhalation. In Jerusalem, Israeli forces sealed the entrances to the Bir Ayyoub and Al-Bustan neighborhoods in Silwan before demolishing the home of Abu Yusuf Al-Rashq in Al-Bustan. These actions are part of an ongoing Israeli campaign aimed at displacing Palestinians from Jerusalem, particularly from areas facing eviction threats, while expanding settlement projects. The Al-Bustan neighborhood in Silwan is experiencing a systematic demolition drive to clear the area for settlement and Judaization projects, which Palestinian officials and rights groups describe as forced displacement and ethnic cleansing, violating international law.

In parallel with the demolitions, settlers attacked Palestinians and their property in several West Bank areas. In Tubas governorate, settlers damaged vital water lines in the Yarza area and attacked residents in Khirbet Ibziq. In Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, settlers seized a water well belonging to Na'aman Abu Eid near Khallat Al-Homs, preventing him from accessing it. Settlers also attacked the Al-Hathroura Bedouin community east of Jerusalem, terrorizing residents. Settler attacks, including stone-throwing at homes and vehicles and damage to agricultural lands, were also reported in the Nablus, Qalqilya, and Ramallah governorates. Israeli forces reportedly provided protection to the settlers during these attacks and fired tear gas and live ammunition at Palestinians who attempted to resist.
