Seven Injured in Major Negev Highway Collision
Seven people were injured on Wednesday morning in a severe traffic accident involving a truck and four private vehicles near the Hura junction in the Negev desert. Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that its emergency services received a call at 6:46 AM about the crash on Highway 31. Paramedics arrived at the scene and provided initial treatment to the injured before transporting seven of them to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba for further medical care.
Among the injured were two young men, approximately 20 years old, whose condition was described as moderate. The other five sustained minor injuries. Initial reports did not provide details on the circumstances or cause of the collision, which also resulted in significant damage to the vehicles involved. Authorities have begun an investigation into the incident, and drivers are being urged to exercise caution on the roads.
