Airport Authority Union Head Declares Unwavering Loyalty to Netanyahu

Pinchas Idan, chairman of the Airports Authority Workers' Union and a Likud party central committee member, stated his deep admiration for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and affirmed his lifelong commitment to the Likud party. Appearing on Channel 14's "24 Minutes" podcast, Idan declared, "I am a Likudnik. I was born a Likudnik. Since Begin, then Shamir, Arik Sharon, and Bibi, for me, he is everything. I won't lie, even if he is angry with me, I am still a Bibi-ist. At this age, after 50 years, there is no chance. Even if I become homeless, I will not move to any other party."

This declaration comes despite a previous incident in August when Prime Minister Netanyahu petitioned the Likud party court to expel Idan. The petition followed an illegal strike at Ben Gurion Airport. Idan denied ordering the strike but stated he would not oppose the petition.

When asked by the interviewer if he still wanted the Likud to be strong despite his expulsion, Idan responded affirmatively without hesitation. He reiterated his dedication, stating, "Even after 50 years, I want the Likud to be strong."
