Eldan Transportation Controlling Shareholders Buy NIS 5.3 Million in Stock
The controlling shareholders of Eldan Transportation Group, the Dahan family, have demonstrated full confidence in the company by purchasing shares worth approximately NIS 5.3 million. These acquisitions, made in recent days at prices between NIS 6 and NIS 6.30 per share, follow a recent decline in the stock's value. The move aims to signal market stability and growth potential for the group.
Following these purchases, the family's holdings are distributed among the three siblings, Shi Dahan, Shlomo Momi Dahan, and Vard Zwill, each now holding 18.36% of the company's shares. Their father, Yosef Dahan, holds approximately 24% of the equity.
This action comes as Eldan recently reported its financial results for the second quarter of 2026. The company saw a 5% increase in revenues, reaching about NIS 420 million, with a total profit of approximately NIS 7.4 million. In light of these positive results, the board approved a dividend distribution of about NIS 3.9 million, adding to a previous distribution of NIS 13.6 million in June.
Capital market observers interpret such moves as a strong signal from management, taking advantage of the stock's downturn to increase their stake at a favorable price and express confidence in the company's long-term strategy. This, combined with consistent dividend payouts and revenue growth, is expected to help Eldan Transportation stabilize its stock and regain investor confidence.
