Israelis Flock to Dubai for Winter Vacations Amid Rising Demand

As the cooler months approach, Dubai is experiencing a surge in demand for winter vacations from Israeli tourists. Despite ongoing security concerns and travel advisories against non-essential trips, nearly 90,000 Israelis visited Dubai in July, with many continuing to other destinations or staying within the emirate. Currently, only one airline, Flydubai, operates flights to Dubai from Israel, and these are not inexpensive, especially considering the challenging summer climate.

Industry experts anticipate even higher numbers as October marks the beginning of Dubai's ideal tourist season. The market is reportedly seeing unprecedented demand from Israelis, who are described as feeling comfortable returning to the popular destination due to their familiarity with the Middle East. This contrasts with a more cautious return observed in other international markets.

To capitalize on this trend, Dubai's tourism sector is offering enhanced value packages. These include deals on hotels, attractions, and beach clubs, with some offers featuring complimentary attractions or half-board options at no extra charge. These promotions aim to provide Israeli tourists with an attractive opportunity to experience Dubai during its peak season at particularly favorable prices.

Even following the events of October 7th, which significantly impacted outbound tourism from Israel, Dubai has maintained its appeal. While there was an initial dip in travel, the period since the Abraham Accords has shown a clear growth trend, with Israeli tourism to Dubai recovering exceptionally quickly and reaffirming its status as a preferred destination.
