Ahead of the upcoming Jewish High Holidays and the anticipated financial strain on households, the Israeli supermarket chain City Market has launched a wide-ranging consumer initiative called "Affordable Holiday Basket." For meat and fish lovers, frozen Tilapia fillet from "Delidag" is priced at NIS 13.90 per kilogram, Norwegian salmon at NIS 79.90 per kilogram, and "Tivon Vil" kebab or hamburger packages at NIS 14.90.
In the beverage and alcohol section, customers can find two "Tirosh" grape juice bottles for NIS 24.90, two "Selected" wines for NIS 59.90, "Barkan Classic" wine for NIS 25.90, and a four-pack of one-liter Coca-Cola bottles for NIS 19.90.
